Sarah Winn Graham
Manager, Communications & Advocacy
Sarah Winn Graham serves as the Manager of Communications & Advocacy for YWCA National Capital Area. In this role, she promotes the organization’s mission through communications, advocacy, and relationship building. Specifically, she manages YWCA NCA’s direct advocacy & policy work, social media & digital presence, communication campaigns, and media outreach efforts. A former newspaper journalist & storyteller at her core, Sarah has more than 15 years of nonprofit communications experience, serving as the voice of organizations committed to making social, educational, and economic opportunities available to all people. Most recently, she served as the Communications & Marketing manager for EveryoneOn, a national nonprofit working to connect everyone to the internet in the United States. She is a proud graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where she majored in Communications and fell madly in love with writing, social justice and helping others. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her spouse, Steven and son, Luke.

National Conference isn’t about YWCA USA, it’s about our broad network of local YWCA associations that implement the work at the local level for women, families, and people of color every day. It’s a time for our Local Associations to share, as a community of learning, and to walk away inspired by each other and the work of the YWCA family. It is a time for the YWCA movement, united as One YWCA, to share and celebrate our history, our mission and impact, planning for the work ahead, and continuing to write our YWCA story.
